Children. Protecting the privacy of children is especially important. Sharing Information. Debmar Mercury does not buy or sell consumer information. We use and disclose information as explained in this policy and as required by law. In certain instances we may need to disclose user information to third parties relating to contest/sweepstakes requirements and/or winner verification. In this case, the user is given the option to receive additional materials from these companies. You have the choice to either accept or decline the invitation.
California Privacy Rights. A California resident having provided any personal information to a business with whom s/he has established a business relationship for personal, family, or household purposes ("California User") is entitled to request information about whether the business has disclosed personal information to any third parties for the third-parties’ direct marketing purposes. In general, if the business has made such a disclosure of personal information, upon receipt of a request by a California User, the business is required to provide a list of all third parties to whom personal information was disclosed in the preceding calendar year, as well as a list of the categories of personal information that were disclosed.

Newsletters. Newsletters may periodically be sent to users who have previously registered to receive such material, if and when offered. At any time, user can "unsubscribe" to this service.

Phishing. Phishing attacks attempt to steal consumers’ personal identity data and financial account credentials. "Phishers" use "spoofed" e-mail messages to lead consumers to counterfeit websites designed to trick recipients into divulging sensitive personal information such as credit card numbers, account usernames, passwords, and social security numbers. WE DO NOT SEND EMAILS ASKING YOU TO PROVIDE OR CONFIRM SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION OR YOUR USERNAME OR PASSWORD! Accessing Your Account Information. You may access the Personal Information you gave us during registration on the Site. There are instructions on the start page to help you recover your password if you’ve forgotten it. REMEMBER: You are solely responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your user name and password and for any charges, costs, expenses, damages, liabilities and losses we incur or may suffer as a result of your failure to do so. You, and not DEBMAR MERCURY, are solely responsible and liable for your activity, behavior, use and conduct on the Debmar Mercury Affiliate Site and for any use of the Site or any other activity or conduct in connection with the Site, by any others who use your user name or password. Remember, when you submit information to us, it does not guarantee that we will permit you to use any or all of the features of functions of the Debmar Mercury Affiliate Site.
Review or Revise Your Personal Data. Generally, you may review or revise select elements of your account and Personal Data as collected by this Site. You also may correct factual inaccuracies. Personal Data that is necessary to check eligibility, however, (such as date of birth or age) may not be deleted, but may be modified with sufficient verification of the correct information. Deletion or attempted deletion of certain Personal Data, such as your user name, may not be permitted and/or may result in suspension of your account or termination of any registration you may have made. To review, update or delete your Personal Data collected by the Debmar Mercury Affiliate Site, please click "MY ACCOUNT" on the homepage and go to "Setup" to change, update, or delete your Personal Data. If you wish to review Personal Data collected for by general use of the Site, you will need to contact the Site’s Privacy Administrator via email with a request at [ ENTER URL] and be prepared to provide verification of your identity. Personal Data collected for certain entries are subject to corporate and regulatory recordkeeping requirements and will not be deleted upon the user’s request, unless the entrant is a child under the age of 13 years old.
Removal of Information Pertaining to Children Under 13 Years of Age. Children under the age of 13 that are unknowingly registered on the Debmar Mercury Affiliate Site are in violation of this Agreement. Parents (including legal guardians) of children who have registered on the Site in violation of the Agreement and who wish to terminate their child’s registration must use their child’s user name and password (User ID) to gain direct access to the account, and select "EDIT ACCOUNT" or alternatively, you can send us an email to the Site’s Privacy Administrator and provide us with your child’s User ID and request to terminate your child’s account and registration. We will not allow direct access to a user’s account and Personal Data by any person without the user’s User ID. (Please see above for how to change your preferences or the information associated with your account.) If a parent does not have his or her child’s User ID, the parent will be required to send an email to the Privacy Administrator that includes the parent’s name, address, telephone and email ad-dress, in addition to the child’s name and email address as registered on the Site, plus the child’s date of birth. The parent must also provide verifiable identification that they are the parent of the ineligible child. DEBMAR MERCURY will send a confirming email to the parent via the email address provided to verify that the parent wishes to terminate his or her child’s ac-count and registration. The parent must then confirm by sending a reply email to the designated return address. DEBMAR MERCURY then will terminate the child’s account but will notify the child of the termination request via email and will identify the name, address and email address of the person making the request.
